Fire services were summoned by police to the three-vehicle crash just before 3 p.m.

One of the vehicles had rolled and landed in a ditch driver’s side down. Crews confirmed one person was trapped.

Firefighters stabilized the vehicle before using specialized equipment to remove the windshield and a section of the vehicle’s roof to access the occupant.

The occupant was safely extricated at 3:14 p.m.

They were placed on a backboard and slid up a roof ladder to be brought out of the ditch.

There was no mention of injuries.
