Two men injured in Perth pellet gun shooting

Two men were sent to hospital after a pellet gun shooting in downtown Perth.

The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a parking lot on Gore Street around 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Apr. 24.

Two men had been shot and the culprit had fled the scene.

Both victims are men in their mid-fifties who were taken to hospital with minor injuries after being assessed on scene by Lanark County Paramedics.

A second potential crime scene was located on Gore Street and the investigation is ongoing

Police do not believe there is any threat to public safety.
