The federal government has referred three new cases of potential fraud in its procurement system to the RCMP.

Public Services and Procurement Canada alerted the RCMP to seven total cases this year after administration investigations into whether the government had been over-billed in contracts.

“These ongoing investigations demonstrate that the government will not tolerate illegal activities and will continue to bring fraudulent billing schemes to justice,” PSPC said in a statement.
