Environment Canada’s forecast for the next few days shows a 30 to 40 per cent chance of light snow flurries.
Of more concern is morning wind chill readings of -7 C to -11 C in the region.
The wind chill calculation Thursday morning was a brisk -5.
The high is expected to hit 2 C through the day.
Thursday night temps are expected to drop to -7 C , with a wind chill “feels like” reading of -11.
That chilly reading is forecast to continue through Friday morning.
The outlook so far is for similar temperatures through the weekend, with daily highs of about 0 C.
