Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say they’ve closed westbound lanes of Highway 417 near Limoges, Ont., after a fatal collision involving a transport truck and a car Tuesday.
In a statement posted to X, formerly Twitter, police said firefighters and paramedics are also on scene.
OPP warned drivers to expect “a lengthy closure” and said there will be detours.
Limoges is a town in the United Counties of Prescott and Russell, about 45 kilometres southeast of downtown Ottawa.
