It’s a gorgeous start to the week for the National Capital region, though we do have a little blast of winter on the way.
There is no precipitation forecast for Ottawa for Monday, April 1, with increasing cloud through the day and a high 10 C.
According to Environment Canada, things will cool down over with a low minus 5 C and a wind chill near minus 10 C, but Tuesday’s forecast is very promising. While a little windy, the weather gency is claling for sunshine and a high 11 C.
Precipitation is expected to move into the region Tuesday evening with a 40 per cent chance of showers and an overnight low 1 C.
The comes the snow.
We’ve got snow in the forecast for Wednesday and Thursday with highs between 1-2 C.
There is also a chance of flurries for Thursday with a high 0 C.
We close out the week with cloudy Friday, a 60 per cent chance of flurries and a high 4, however by Sunday, Environment Canada is calling for beautiful spring weather.
