One person is dead following an early morning crash on Highway 17 in the Ottawa Valley.
Ontario Provincial Police say emergency crews responded to a collision involving a tractor-trailer and a mini van on the highway between County Road 24/White Water Road in Pembroke and Main Street in Cobden at 2:45 a.m.
Police say the driver of the van died from their injuries.
Highway 17 remains closed between Pembroke and Cobden while police investigate.
