Ottawa police continue to investigate the collision, which was reported at about 3 p.m. and also injured the bus driver and two passengers.
OC Transpo general manager Renée Amilcar said there were seven passengers aboard the bus at the time of the collision. The driver and two passengers suffered minor injuries in the crash and were treated on the scene by paramedics and released.
Ottawa police are leading the investigation and OC Transpo “continues to cooperate with those efforts,” Amilcar said in a memo to Ottawa Council Sunday.
“Our thoughts are with everyone involved in the collision.”
Investigators say they would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the collision, or may have dashcam footage of this incident, who have not yet spoken to police.
