It was a colourful Mother’s Day for those who made their way to Commissioners Park on Sunday to see some of the more than 300,000 flowers on display during the Canadian Tulip Festival.
Beyond the seemingly endless beds of tulips, there was also the Flower Fun Run, held in honour of the Royal Canadian Air Force, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary. Runners took part in one- and five-kilometre events.
