Company truck caught going 170 km/h by OPP

A driver will have “some explaining to do” according to the Ontario Provincial Police.

On May 14, police charged and impounded a vehicle for stunt driving on Highway 417.

The vehicle was going 170 km/h.

According to a post on X, the vehicle was a company truck.

“This driver will have some explaining to do when his boss finds out the company truck was impounded for #StuntDriving,” the post reads.

The driver received a roadside 30 suspension, a 14-day vehicle impoundment and a court date, police said.
