North Grenville man charged with sexual assault

A sexual assault complaint has led to charges against a man from North Grenville.

On Sunday, May 26, the Grenville County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a complaint, and following an investigation, an arrest was made the next day. 

Jesse Bryanton, 31, faces the following charges:

• Sexual assault
• Overcome resistance by administering or attempting to administer a drug (two counts)
• Uttering threats – cause death or bodily harm (two counts)

Meantime, Bryanton faces four charges in a separate case, a shooting in Oxford Station over the Victoria Day long weekend.

The accused remains in custody.
