Two men have been charged with manslaughter and fentanyl trafficking in connection with the death of a man last summer in Pembroke, Ont.
Renfrew County paramedics and Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were called to a home on Pembroke Street E. on July 23, 2023.
Chance Turcotte, 27, was found dead inside, OPP said in a new release issued Thursday afternoon.
An “extensive” investigation led to the arrests of a 35-year-old man from Pembroke in March and a 37-year-old man from Ottawa yesterday, OPP said.
Both men remain in custody after their bail hearings, OPP said.
They’re scheduled to appear in court again later this month.
