Ottawa Bluesfest announced singer-songwriter Shaboozey and rapper Jelly Roll will be added to the line up on July 9.
Amid rumours last week of a mystery guest being added to city’s largest music festival, on Tuesday morning officials confirmed the details.
“We have added an extra night to the 2024 festival so we could bring you Jelly Roll,” the release from Ottawa Bluesfest reads.
Tickets go on sale Wednesday July 19 at 10:00 a.m. for the one night event, starting at $35. For those who bought a full access pass, officials said the additional day is automatically included.
Shaboozey, who’s popular song A Bar Song (Tipsy), will be playing at 7:30 p.m. on the RBC stage. After at 9:00 p.m. Jelly Roll, who released Wild Ones last year, will preform.
The event runs July 4-14 at Lebreton Flats and hosts headliners like Nickleback, Noah Cyrus, 50 Cent, Maroon 5, Zach Brown Band, Mötley Crüe and more.
Originally, July 8 and 9 were set aside as a break for volunteers.
