Man, 28, shot to death near Carling and Kirkwood

Ottawa police have identified a 28-year-old man as the victim in a shooting death Friday evening near the intersection of Carling and Kirkwood avenues.

The victim was identified as Adam Abdullahi Elmi of Ottawa.

In a brief release, police said no suspects are in custody.

No other details have been released.

Detectives are asking for surveillance video from anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the incident.
