Ottawa police have charged a 25-year-old Ottawa man with one count each of sexual assault and forcible confinement after a woman in her late teens was allegedly attacked when the suspect was driving her home on the weekend.
This suspect was expected to appear in court Wednesday.
Sexual assault squad investigators believe there could be other victims and other incidents, a news release said.
Anyone with information about the case was asked to call the Ottawa Police Service sexual assault and child abuse unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 5944. Tips may also be sent electronically to SACA@ottawapolice.ca.
