Death of person in Faircrest Heights Park not suspicious, police say

The death of a person in Ottawa’s Faircrest Heights Park on Monday was deemed not suspicious, Ottawa police said.

Police took a call about it at about 1 p.m., a spokesperson for the East Division said. The park is located on Smyth Road, across from the General campus of The Ottawa Hospital.

Ottawa paramedics took a call at 1:09 p.m. and attended the scene, but did not transport a patient, a spokesperson said.

No other details were immediately available.
