A 19-year-old driver was caught travelling at 196 km/h on eastbound Highway 417, near Moodie Drive.
The driver received a roadside 30-day driving license suspension, and a 14-day impound of vehicle.
The driver now faces a minimum $2,000 fine, six demerit points, and a one-year driving prohibition upon conviction in court.
