Environment Canada is forecasting a wet weekend across much of the province.
While no alerts are in effect at this time, the weather agency says heavy rain is possible as a moisture-laden system approaches.
This pattern could bring significant rainfall amounts, high rainfall rates and thunderstorms, likely starting Friday evening and continuing right through Sunday, possibly Monday.

- Wednesday, Aug. 14: A mix of sun and cloud. 40 percent chance of showers late this afternoon with risk of a thunderstorm. High 29. Humidex 35.
- Wednesday night: Partly cloudy. 40 percent chance of showers this evening with risk of a thunderstorm. Clearing overnight. Low 16.
- Thursday, Aug. 15: Sunny in the morning and early in the afternoon then a mix of sun and cloud with 30 percent chance of showers late in the afternoon. Risk of a thunderstorm late in the afternoon. High 29. Humidex 36.

- Friday, Aug. 16: Increasing cloudiness. High 28.
