The RCMP are conducting an investigation in the 300 block of Sussex Drive in downtown Ottawa.
According to a post on X from Ottawa police, the investigation is “similar in nature to the threats received yesterday”.
On Wednesday, there were a number of bomb threats made to Ottawa hospitals, synagogues.
The RCMP confirm to CityNews that the investigation is currently ongoing following new emails sent today.
Today’s events are now part of the country-wide investigation into bomb threats made a hospitals and other buildings. Officials will provide updates as the situation develops.
At this time, it is unclear what building(s) are targeted.
Ottawa police say they are no longer on the scene.
