Two people have been arrested in connection to a homicide investigation in Gatineau.
The Service de Police de la Ville de Gatineau (SPVG) responded to Allumettières Boulevard on the morning of Thursday, Sept. 26, where Maxim Bourgon-Frigon was found injured.
It’s believed the injures were caused by a firearm and an autopsy will be conducted in Montreal to determine the cause of death.
Two people, a 56-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman, have been arrested in connection with the investigation and police say both are known to the SPVG.
The pair did not resist their arrest and were taken to the police station to be met by investigators.
This is the third homicide in Gatineau this year and police haven’t said if charges will be laid.
