The Ottawa police have asked for help in the search for a missing 79-year-old man.
Allan Ritchie was last seen in the 3000 block of Carling Avenue at about 3:45 p.m. Saturday, police said in a news release.
He was described as white with an average height and build, grey hair and clean shaven. He was last seen wearing cream- coloured pants with a grey shirt with a yellow stripe.
Anyone with information was asked to call the West District staff desk at 613-236-1222, extension 2912. Anonymous tips can be submitted by calling Crime Stoppers toll-free at 1-800-222-8477(TIPS).
