Woman killed in rural west Ottawa rollover

Ottawa paramedics say a woman was fatally injured in a single-vehicle rollover in Dunrobin on Sunday afternoon.

Ottawa paramedics say a woman was fatally injured in a single-vehicle rollover in Dunrobin on Sunday afternoon.

A spokesperson told CBC in an email that emergency crews were called around 2 p.m. and the victim died before she could be taken to hospital.

She was the only person in the vehicle, paramedics said. Her name has not been released.

Ottawa police said on social media Dunrobin Road was closed between Vances and Kinburn side roads. It had reopened by 8:30 p.m.

The crash happened about 30 kilometres west of the downtown core.
