Police launch arson probe into bungalow fire in Nepean that injured two

Ottawa police have launched an arson investigation into a residential fire early Tuesday that left two people seriously injured on Rossland Avenue in Nepean, near Algonquin College.

Ottawa Fire Services were called to the bungalow shortly after 3:30 a.m. following a 911 call from a neighbour who reported flames shooting through a window in the home.

Two occupants managed to escape the fire, but both were treated for burns and smoke inhalation.
