Ottawa police said there was no indication of foul play in the death of a man found early Monday morning suffering from serious burns in the 100 block of Queen Street.
The victim died from his injuries in hospital.
Following the death, police homicide detectives took carriage of the investigation of the suspicious death.
“Following the initial stages of this investigation, we can confirm that there was no foul play in this tragic incident,” police said in a social media release.
