Investigation continues after man found seriously injured in Smiths Falls street

Police in Smiths Falls are seeking the public’s assistance in connection with the discovery of a critically injured man found on a street Tuesday evening.

Police said they were called at 7:25 p.m. on Tuesday by paramedics who were treating the unconscious man on Jasper Avenue.

Preliminary investigation indicated the man was a passenger in a moving vehicle when he went out the open window, landing on the road.

The victim remains in hospital. Police have not released any identity of the victim.
