Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say one driver was killed and the other injured in a crash on County Road 40 near Trenton Wednesday night.
In a news release, police said they were called to the crash around 8:35 p.m. and closed the road between Telephone Road and County Road 2.
Both drivers were taken to hospital, police said, with one later being pronounced dead. Police did not release their name.
The crash happened in the city of Quinte West, about three kilometres northwest of downtown Trenton and 20 kilometres west of downtown Belleville.
