2 motorcyclists killed in Kingston head-on crash

A motorcycle driver and passenger were killed in a head-on collision with a vehicle’s driver on Bath Road in Kingston, Ont., Wednesday night.

A motorcycle driver and passenger were killed in a head-on collision with a vehicle’s driver in west Kingston, Ont., Wednesday night. 

The unidentified driver, 32, and passenger, 22, died in the crash on Bath Road west of Tanner Drive around 11 p.m. Wednesday, according to a Kingston Police news release.

Police said a cyclist who was in the area at the time of the crash also suffered minor injuries.

Eastbound lanes on Bath Road reopened at 7.30 a.m. Thursday, while westbound lanes remained closed as of around 9:30 a.m.

Police said no charges have been laid while the cause of the collision remains under investigation. 

The crash happened about seven kilometres northwest of the city core.
