ByWard Market shooting sends 2 to hospital

Ottawa Paramedics said they responded to a call at 12:50 a.m. on Clarence Street. They transported one man to hospital in critical condition and another in serious but stable condition.

Two men were taken to hospital following a shooting in ByWard Market early Tuesday morning.

Ottawa Paramedics said they responded to a call at 12:50 a.m. on Clarence Street.

They transported one man to hospital in critical condition and another in serious but stable condition.

Ottawa police said in a social media post that they responded to the area of Clarence Street and Parent Avenue. 

Roads in the area had reopened by later Tuesday morning.
