A 15-year-old pedestrian is dead after a collision in South Frontenac Township on Saturday.
A full-size van struck the teen around 5:30 p.m., according to Ontario Provincial Police. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Another pedestrian — a 15-year-old female — was transported to hospital with minor injuries.
The driver of the vehicle was uninjured and faces an immediate license suspension.
The collision happened on Rosedale Road between Alton Road East and Freeman Road. The road was closed for several hours for an investigation but has since reopened.
