A man faces numerous charges including assault with a weapon and assault causing bodily harm after two people were shot with a pellet gun in a parking lot in Perth.
Officers with the Lanark County detachment of the OPP were called to the parking lot on Gore Street at about 8 p.m. on the night of April 24. Two people had been shot with a pellet gun, sustaining minor injuries. The person with the gun then fled the scene.

On Thursday, officers with the OPP crime unit, supported by the tactics and rescue unit, executed a warrant on an apartment on Gore Street. A suspect was arrested without incident.
The Perth man faces charges of two counts of assault with a weapon; two counts of assault causing bodily harm; two counts of assault; pointing a firearm; impersonating a peace officer; possession of a firearm contrary to a prohibition order and two counts of failing to comply with a probation order.
The accused remains in custody following bail hearing. He is scheduled to appear again before the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on Monday.
The investigation into this incident is continuing, said police.
