‘Domesticated’ raccoon seized, off to rehab to learn to be wild

Heaven knows there are few wild animals cuter than raccoons.

Unless you ever tried to capture one stuck in your ceiling or under a porch.

But they shouldn’t be in our homes. At all, the city says.

So when By-law Enforcement officers were tipped off early in July that a raccoon was being kept indoors as a pet in an apartment complex, authorities were quick to respond.
