G1 driver arrested for stunt driving on Queensway

Provincial arrested a young Kanata driver Tuesday night who was charged with stunt driving, along with a host of other charges.

Police did not report how fast the vEhicle was going before it was pulled over at Eagleson and Pallomino Drive at about 6 p.m.

Among the charges laid were:

Drive While Under Suspension
Possession of cannabis (under 19)
Open Liquor
G1 Unaccompanied by Qualified Driver

The driver received an immediate 30-day licence and the vehicle was impoundedfor 14 days.

The driver will appear at a later date and faces a minimum $2,000 fine, six demerits and a one year driving suspension upon conviction for the stunt driving charge alone.
