Gatineau police are seeking public assistance in locating Taher Alzunni, 12, who has been missing since Friday.

Police and the boy’s family are concerned about his welfare.

Taher was last seen when he left home to go to school in Pointe-Gatineau.

He is described as 1.58 metres (five feet two inches) tall, weighing about 50 kg. He has dark brown hair and brown eyes.

When last seen, he was wearing a black hoodie and black pants, with white-and-pink Nike shoes.

Anyone with information on Taher Alzunni is asked to phone Gatineau police at 819-246-0222.
