Gatineau police seek suspect in hit-and-run that injured pedestrian, 94

The Gatineau Police Service is requesting public assistance in identifying the driver of a vehicle that struck and injured a 94-year-old pedestrian and then left the scene on July 29.

A police news release on Thursday said the hit-and-run occurred just before 11 a.m. at the intersection of rue de l’Alliance and boulevard de la Gappe in the Gatineau sector.

The pedestrian, a woman, had injuries that were not life-threatening, police said.

On Thursday, police release a photo of the vehicle involved in the case, describing it as a black, late-model Kia Sorento.
