The City of Ottawa has brought in a draft budget that calls for a 3.9 per cent tax increase in 2025. Over the next few weeks, councillors will be debating where and how to spend your money before the budget goes to council for final approval on Dec. 11.

Why is the cost of seniors’ bus passes going up so much? Who’s paying for Ottawa’s new eyes-in-the-sky police helicopter? Where does the money from red light cameras go?
