Ottawa homicide detectives are investigating the death of a person found deceased in their home shortly after 11 a.m. Wednesday.
In a brief statement on social media on Thursday, Ottawa police said they were called to the death in the home in the 1200 block of Woodroffe Avenue the day prior.
“The death has been deemed to be a homicide,” police then said in the release.
Police said they were still in the process of notifying next of kin.
No further details were immediately available.
