An 81-year-old Kemptville man was killed and two people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash Friday afternoon.
Provincial police said in a release the crash occurred just after 5:30 p.m., on County Road 43 near Van Buren Street when an eastbound vehicle crossed the centre line, sideswiped one westbound vehicle and collided head-on with a second westbound vehicle.
The driver of the eastbound vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene. The drivers of the other two vehicles were transported to hospital by the Leeds Grenville Paramedic Service with non-life-threatening injuries.
Local roads have reopened after they were closed for several hours for investigation.
