LCBO workers vote overwhelmingly in favour of strike

After four days of voting, the majority of workers at Ontario’s primary liquor retailer voted in favour of a mandate to walk off the job.

The Ontario Public Service Employees Union said Saturday that 97 per cent of participating LCBO workers voted in favour of a strike, and the turnout was a record, with 86 per cent of members casting a vote. A total of 8,060 members took part.
