Leeds area man, 64, found deceased in ATV rollover

A 64-year-old man has died after the four-wheel drive vehicle he was riding plunged into the Gananoque River Saturday morning.

Leeds County OPP said the victim was located shortly after 9 a.m. He had no vital signs when the body was discovered.

The ATV was located upside-down near the intersection of Turn Around Road and Maple Grove Road.

He was identified as a local man but his identity is not being released.

Police said the investigation is continuing to try to determine the time and cause of the collision.
