Ottawa’s LRT is back running after a brief stoppage Monday afternoon.
OC Transpo said on social media shortly after 12 p.m. that a stopped train meant service was only running on eastbound trains between Hurdman and uOttawa stations on the O-Train Confederation Line.
The post did not specify what caused the stopped train, but said “we are working to resolve it as quickly as possible.”
Regular service resumed about 30 minutes later.
It came on the heels of a rough commute for some bus riders, as OC Transpo earlier reported “an increase in the number of buses missing their trips,” during the morning commute.
“We will continue to provide you updates with more information,” OC Transpo said on social media around 8:20 a.m.
OC Transpo has not yet returned a request for comment to this newspaper.
