The man and woman were found dead at the scene of the crash, which was believed to have happened several hours before because the engine was cold to the touch when police arrived, the OPP said in a news release.

The cause of the collision had not been determined.

Police said no witnesses had come forward, but said anyone who saw the collision or had relevant dashcam video could contact the Leeds County OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Those who wish to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or leave a tip online at ontariocrimestoppers.ca.
