The Ottawa Police Service on Thursday issued a request for public assistance in locating a 27-year-old man last seen by his family on Sept. 10.
Hugh Harrington was last seen near the Place d’Orléans shopping centre at about 7 p.m. that day, a police news release said.
Harrington was described as a white male standing approximately five feet 10 inches (178 centimetres) tall and weighing 140 pounds (64 kilograms) with a medium build. He has blue eyes, shoulder-length red hair (usually up in a bun) and a full beard.
He was last seen wearing a black, short-sleeved T-shirt, black nylon pants and black leather running shoes.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts was asked to call the Ottawa Police Service at 613-236-1222 ext. 7300. Anonymous tips can be submitted to Crime Stoppers toll-free at 1-800-222-8477(TIPS).
