Quebec police are requesting public assistance in locating a missing woman from Blue Sea.

Carla Mary Henkel, 48, was last seen about 11 p.m. Monday in the Maniwaki area, a Sûreté du Québec news release said Tuesday.

Henkel would have left there in a black 2019 Dodge Ram truck with Ontario licence plates BE81023. The truck could be elsewhere in the Outaouais or in Ontario, the police bulletin said, adding that family had “reason to fear for her health and safety.”

Henkel was described as standing five feet seven inches (175 centimetres tall) and weighing 138 pounds (63 kilograms). She has grey hair and brown eyes, and was last seen wearing grey cargo pants, a black sweater with a white graphic design and a black jacket with red bottoms.

Anyone seeing Henkel was asked to contact 911. Any information that could make it possible to find her can be communicated, confidentially, to the Sûreté du Québec Criminal Information Centre at 1-800-659-4264.
