O-Train Line 1 to close Saturday for system integration testing

The O-Train Line 1 will close for the day Saturday, to conduct more testing on the Stage 2 O-Train East extension.

“This temporary closure is required for system integration testing of train control software … on the extended line from Blair Station to Trim Station,” Transit Services GM Renée Amilcar said in a memo to council.

Line 1 service is to resume Sunday at 8 a.m.

During the shutdown, R1 bus service will operate between Tunney’s Pasture and Blair stations from 6 a.m. Saturday to 2 a.m. Sunday.

Shuttle bus service will also run between St-Laurent and Cyrville stations and between Lees Station and Mackenzie King Bridge, during the closure.
