One arrested in ‘incident’ at Bayview LRT station

Ottawa Police say one person has been arrested following an “incident” at  Bayview Station this morning.

Around 11 a.m., police said they were on scene investigating at the LRT station at 801 Albert St.

“All parties have been located. An arrest has been made and there is no threat to public safety,” police said.

OC Transpo followed up shortly after, saying due to a “security incident,” trains were operating on the westbound platforms only at Bayview, Pimisi and Lyon stations. Full service resumed around 12 p.m.

A media spokesperson for the Ottawa police said more information would be provided.
