One person was transported to hospital in what police described as “unstable” condition after a collision between a motorcycle and a moped in Gatineau on Wednesday afternoon.
The Gatineau Police Service said officers were called to the collision at the intersection of Boulevard de la Cité and Boulevard de l’Hôpital just before 1:45 p.m.
Maloney Boulevard West eastbound was closed between de la Cité and de l’Hôpital for the investigation. Depending on the progress in the investigation, a complete closure of Maloney in both directions between de l’Hôpital and de la Cité could be necessary, police added in a late-afternoon news release.
