OPP release photo seeking to ID individuals over Pembroke jewelry store theft

The Upper Ottawa Valley detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police has released a photo of three individuals that it is seeking to identify in connection with a jewelry store theft in Pembroke on Nov. 13.

In a news release on Wednesday, Nov. 27, the OPP said it was believed that three individuals were involved:

Subject 1: White jacket with large dark strip around the waist and dark sleeves on the forearms, black balaclava.

Subject 2: Wearing a red jacket with large front pouch, blue hoodie underneath, black pants, white shoes.

Subject 3: Blue jacket, blue jeans, black shoes.

At about 1 a.m. on Nov. 13, OPP officers responded to an alarm at the jewelry store on Pembroke Street East and found evidence of forced entry and theft.

Responding officers, the OPP Emergency Response Team and a Canine Unit conducted a search, but could not locate those responsible, though they did recover items that had been stolen from the store.

Wednesday’s release said police were interested in speaking with individuals or businesses who have not already been in contact with investigators, but were in the area of Pembroke Street East and Howard Street that morning or may have video from the area between 12 midnight and 2 a.m.
