Police have charged an Ottawa man with a number of child-luring offences involving at least one child under the age of 16.
Police said in a news release Wednesday that the investigation began in early May, headed by the Ottawa Police Service internet child exploitation (ICE) unit.
On July 11, ICE detectives, with assistance from a number of other police units, searched a residence in the west end of Ottawa, where the suspect was arrested.

Michael Begin, 56, was charged with telecommunication with a person under the age of 18 for a specific criminal offence, making written child pornography and transmitting sexually explicit material to a person under 16 years.
He was scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
Investigators believe there could be more victims, the release said.
The suspect allegedly used the screen names: Mic1067 and MicBee67.
Police said the investigation was continuing and asked anyone who may have communicated online with the suspect to contact police.
