Ottawa police seeking public’s assistance as they look for missing 66-year-old man

Ottawa police have asked for the public’s help in the search for Robert Gosselin.

The 66-year-old man was last seen in the 700 block of Montreal Road at about 11:30 p.m. Friday, police said in a news release Saturday evening.

Gosselin was described as white, medium build, 5-9 to 5-11 and balding, with grey short hair and a mostly shaved face. When last seen, he had on a green T-shirt, blue jeans and black and white Velcro sneakers.

Anyone with information about the current whereabouts of Gosselin was asked to call the Ottawa police at 613-236-1222, extension 3212. Anonymous tips can be submitted by calling Crime Stoppers toll-free at 1-800-222-8477(TIPS).
