Pedestrian critically injured in Lowertown hit and run

A pedestrian is in critical condition after a driver hit her and then fled the scene on Friday.

Ottawa police say a woman in her 60s was struck in the intersection of St. Patrick Street and Coburg Street and suffered serious injuries.

The hit-and-run took place on Jan. 24, just after 7 a.m.

Investigators would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the collision or may have dash or door cam/home surveillance footage in the area of this incident and have not yet spoken to police.
